​Emily is Community Pastor of Liberty Church Bay Ridge, a new local community of Liberty Church which started weekly services in February 2018. She lives in Bay Ridge with her husband Heath, a high school social studies teacher, and their two sons, Amos and Miles. They were engaged during a nor’easter in Boston, married during a blizzard in Toronto, and honeymooned during the rainy season in Zambia. So, they’re pretty much weatherproof. Emily and Heath share a passion for connecting people through the church and seeing lives transformed by the gospel and thriving in community.

Invitation from the Committee

After a short intermission, ECBC is back! While we will be meeting in a new location, we still uphold the same vision and purpose. Not only will it be a weekend getaway to close out the summer, it will also be a great opportunity to fellowship with other Christians in the tri-state area, to connect with others who share similar passion, and to encourage each other on their spiritual journey.
The theme for 2018 is Community - exploring the concept of biblical community, which extends beyond the building walls of the church we attend each week. Our longing for community is innate because that is how God designed us to be. Come join us as we dive deeper into one of the fundamentals of our faith, Christian community, the way God intends for it to be. Of course, all of this while enjoying all that the new retreat center can offer!
