SPEAKER:  Pastor John Ng

BIO: Prior to his college years, Pastor John became Christian through an adult friend who was the director of Bowery Mission. After college, he felt God’s call to full time professional ministry and entered the Alliance Theological Seminary in 1974.  For the past 30 years, John served as pastor in California and New York churches and taught in several seminaries as an adjunct and full time professor. In between, he attended Fuller Theological Seminary and completed his post graduate studies and also served in the National Office of the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination as Associate Director of Church Growth and Planting and Assistant Vice President for Division of Church Ministry. Since his conversion, he has been a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance and was ordained in 1982.  In 1997, he planted an Asian-American church in New York City. He is currently the Associate Professor of Pastoral Studies at the Alliance Theological Seminary in the New York City campus and the Advisory Pastor with the New York Chinese Baptist Church. He is also an associate director of PALM, a parachurch organization serving the Asian churches and pastors in the greater New York area.
